Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill patients
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding quickly to changes
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in cardiac monitoring, vent management, and critical care protocols
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex patients
- Empathy and patient advocacy in high-stress situations
