Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Varied shifts - 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts; specific schedule including weekends and holidays discussed during interview.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT scans and diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced environment
Operate Philips iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16 CT scanners with precision
Assist with C-arms in the operating room during surgical procedures
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and healthcare team to ensure excellent patient care
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all safety protocols are followed

Qualifications

At least 2 years of recent CT and radiology tech experience (first-time travelers considered)
Active BLS, ARRT, and California Fluoroscopy certifications required
Level II trauma experience preferred but not required
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume radiology department
Self-starter ready to hit the ground running

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in CT scanning techniques and radiation safety
Experience with Cerner electronic medical records
Strong ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
