Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide intermediate care for patients with cardiac and vascular conditions
Manage titratable drips such as amiodarone, nitro, nicardipine, and epinephrine
Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms
Collaborate with intensivists and cardiologists to deliver optimal patient outcomes
Float to same-level or lower-acuity units as needed
Support the thoracic program, EP, cath lab, and structural heart patients

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of experience with this patient population
Driver's license required at submission
Must be willing to adhere to facility policies including no artificial nails

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in titration of cardiac drips and blood pressure management
Skilled in telemetry interpretation and strip reading
Experience with BiPAP, CPAP, and nasal cannula
Ability to work in a fast-paced CVU environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
