Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care for critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
Assess, monitor and document patient condition, responding rapidly to changes in status
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications and manage advanced life support equipment per policy
Communicate clearly and compassionately with families, keeping them informed and supported

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) with active licensure (or eligible) in the state of Ohio
Experience or strong interest in pediatric critical care (PICU)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; advanced pediatric certifications (PALS, ACLS) preferred
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Completed or willing to attend paid orientation

Education

Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN/BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Pediatric critical care principles and bedside assessment skills
Familiarity with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
Strong clinical judgment, prioritization and time management
Clear communication with families and multidisciplinary teams
Comfort with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
