Registered Nurse - MedSurg/ER
Location: Baudette, Minnesota
Start Date: 06-01-2026
End Date: 08-31-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every third weekend and holiday
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care across MedSurg and ER units, floating where needed most
- Admit, discharge, and transfer patients while managing complex medication drips
- Respond swiftly to codes, traumas, and critical situations with confidence
- Start IVs, manage PICC lines and ports, and deliver hands-on emergency interventions
- Collaborate closely with hospitalists and the care team in a tight-knit environment
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Minnesota or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Minimum one year of ER experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable working independently with minimal staffing support
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with Meditech EMR documentation
- Skilled in titrating insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, and levophed drips
- Able to interpret telemetry strips and perform EKGs independently
- Experience with BiPAP, high-flow oxygen, and Hamilton T1 ventilator management
- Strong critical thinking and adaptability in both swing-bed rehab and trauma scenarios
