Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients on each shift
Assess patient conditions, develop and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth patient transitions
Monitor patient progress and communicate changes promptly to providers and families
Document clinical care clearly and thoroughly in the electronic health record

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice (or compact RN where applicable)
Med/Surg clinical experience preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) a plus
Strong clinical assessment skills and IV/medication administration experience
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of Med/Surg nursing standards and best practices
Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation
Ability to prioritize, triage, and manage multiple patients safely
Competence in medication administration, wound care, and basic procedures
Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills with patients and staff
