Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients in the ED
• Rapidly assess, triage, and stabilize patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with orders and protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the care team to create and execute patient care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up care
• Maintain situational awareness in a fast-paced environment and escalate concerns appropriately
• Contribute to a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and evidence-based practice

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New Hampshire or eligible for state licensure
• Minimum clinical experience in emergency department settings preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) strongly preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills in high-acuity situations
• Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and adapt to variable schedules as needed
• Professional communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in emergency nursing assessments and triage procedures
• Knowledge of ED workflows, rapid patient stabilization, and trauma basics
• Proficient in medication administration, IV therapy, and emergency interventions
• Comfortable using electronic health record systems for documentation
• Ability to function effectively under pressure and maintain clear communication
• Customer-focused mindset with strong teamwork and collaboration skills
