Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate hospital-wide clinical operations during night shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care
• Provide onsite administrative oversight and act as the primary back-up for front-line managers in their absence
• Manage staffing decisions, ensuring appropriate mix and numbers of clinical staff to meet patient needs
• Oversee patient placement and clinical coordination across departments to maintain smooth flow
• Address patient and family relations matters with professionalism, empathy, and timely resolution
• Collaborate with department heads on risk management, public affairs, and communications during off-hours
• Evaluate performance, mentor staff, and support professional growth to strengthen the clinical team
• Ensure adequate distribution and allocation of supplies and equipment during your shift

Qualifications

• Proven background in nursing leadership and clinical coordination (house supervisor or similar role preferred)
• Experience managing staffing, patient placement, and risk management during off-shifts
• Strong communication skills for interacting with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and evaluate clinical staff and to make timely administrative decisions
• Comfortable serving as the onsite administrative representative during nights, weekends, and holidays

Education

• Nursing background with related clinical leadership experience (formal degree not specified in posting)

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of hospital operations and night-shift clinical workflows
• Excellent crisis management and decision-making under pressure
• Skilled in staffing logistics, resource allocation, and supply/equipment oversight
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient/family relations and public-facing communications
• Ability to collaborate across departments and provide clear, actionable guidance
