Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients in the Uptown Health/Rehab area
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings to the care team
Document care clearly and timely in the medical record
Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and support staff to create strong care plans
Support patients and families with education and emotional reassurance

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted LPN or RN license (appropriate to the role) — New Mexico licensure preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Comfort with medication administration, wound care, and patient assessments
A caring attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset
Ability to work the posted day shift hours (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (for LPN) or accredited nursing program (for RN)
High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
Medication administration and documentation
Infection control and safety best practices
Electronic medical record charting
Effective communication with interdisciplinary teams
Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
