Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents with professionalism
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care thoroughly
Monitor patient condition and escalate changes to the care team promptly
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to create meaningful care plans
Assist with activities of daily living while promoting patient dignity and independence
Maintain clear, timely charting and communicate effectively with families

Qualifications

Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license for New York state
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; compassionate bedside manner
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and basic clinical assessments
Charting and electronic health record familiarity
Infection control and patient safety best practices
Time management and prioritization in a busy care setting
Team collaboration and clear communication with clinical staff
