Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Support safe patient transfers and mobility under proper protocol
Document care in a timely, clear, and professional manner
Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania (required)
Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required
Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered attitude
Previous experience in long-term or skilled nursing care is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic personal care
Able to take and accurately record vital signs
Familiarity with charting and basic documentation best practices
Knowledge of infection control and patient safety principles
Team-oriented communication and the ability to follow care plans
Good time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
