Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor and document patient condition, reporting changes to the nursing team
Assist with mobility, transfers and safe patient handling to promote independence
Support a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control protocols
Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families and the care team
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on quality care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Active state authorization to practice in Pennsylvania (as applicable)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or required based on facility policy
Comfort with physical aspects of the role (lifting, assisting with mobility)
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with ADLs and basic patient care
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Familiarity with documentation and charting best practices
Teamwork mindset and ability to follow care plans and nurse directions
Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
