Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents following care plans
Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
Document resident interactions and care delivered in a timely, professional manner
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
Previous CNA experience preferred but new grads with certification are welcome
Up-to-date basic life support (BLS) / CPR as required by facility
Ability to pass background check, TB screening, and required immunizations
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively on a care team

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing and personal care techniques
Skillful in safe resident handling and transfer techniques
Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
Ability to recognize and report changes in condition
Good teamwork and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment
Respectful approach to resident privacy, dignity, and cultural needs
