Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-centered personal care and support
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and consistently
Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents
Support meaningful interactions and emotional well-being for each resident

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Valid state-required certifications and licenses for New York (as applicable)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Dependable work ethic and strong communication skills
Comfortable working as part of a care team and following care plans

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
CNA certification from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care and resident assistance
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Infection control and safe patient handling practices
Good documentation and charting skills
Strong interpersonal skills and compassionate bedside manner
