Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care including triage and acute interventions
• Administer medications and perform required procedures for ER, acute and long-term care patients
• Cross-cover acute and LTC areas when ER patient volume is low to ensure seamless patient care
• Assess patients, prioritize care, and escalate concerns to the interdisciplinary team as needed
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with facility policies
• Support a small critical access hospital environment by being adaptable and collaborative

Qualifications

• Active Hawaii RN license required by the start of assignment
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an Emergency Department
• Comfortable and experienced working 12-hour shifts and providing cross-coverage in acute and LTC settings
• Experience administering medications and performing patient procedures across ER, acute and LTC populations
• Ability to work in a small critical access hospital where nurses cover multiple areas
