Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care within the cardiac catheterization lab
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures and advanced interventions
• Administer and monitor emergency medications with speed and accuracy when needed
• Operate and document using MacLab and Meditech systems to ensure accurate patient records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
• Maintain a safe, efficient cath lab environment and uphold required dress/uniform standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (position indicates 2 years of experience)
• Proven cath lab experience and comfort with cardiac catheterization procedures
• Advanced knowledge of emergency medications (must-have skill)
• Experience with procedures such as LHC, PCI, TAVR, PPM, Impella, and IABP
• Familiarity with MacLab, Meditech, and GE x-ray equipment

Education

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong cath lab clinical skills and cardiac catheterization procedure knowledge
• Comfort administering and titrating emergency medications in acute settings
• Hands-on experience with LHC, PCI, TAVR, PPM, Impella and IABP cases
• Proficiency with MacLab and Meditech documentation systems
• Experience working with GE x-ray imaging equipment
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple cases per day
