Shift Type: Alternating 12-hour night shifts (3 nights one week / 4 nights next), 5:45 PM - 6:15 AM NOC (rotating schedule that includes weekends)

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to long-term care residents during the night shift
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document in the resident record
- Perform regular resident assessments, monitor changes, and escalate concerns to the clinical team
- Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate, timely charting and handoffs to day-shift staff
- Support infection prevention, resident safety, and facility policies during overnight hours
- Offer comfort, reassurance, and person-centered care to residents and families
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure (appropriate state licensure required)
- Experience or comfort working in long-term care (LTC) settings preferred
- Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and alternating 3/4-week schedules
- Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
- Dependable, professional, and able to work independently overnight
- Clear communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Resident assessment and monitoring during overnight hours
- Medication administration and safe documentation practices
- Familiarity with long-term care workflows and resident-centered care
- Basic infection control and safety procedures
- Effective handoff communication and teamwork
- Time management for overnight clinical responsibilities
