Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the Vitros 56/7600 analyzers to ensure reliable patient results
- Perform and document clinical testing and quality control in line with lab policies and regulatory standards
- Submit and maintain detailed analyzer history and instrumentation logs as requested
- Respond promptly to on-call requests and communicate critical results to the clinical team
- Collaborate with lab leadership and clinical staff to support smooth workflow and patient care
- Adhere to specimen handling, safety protocols, and documentation requirements at all times
Qualifications
- Active MLT or MT certification/credential (MLT or MT) required
- Extensive hands-on experience with the Vitros 56/7600 is required
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and work a 4x10 day schedule
- Able to provide analyzer history as part of application
- Eligible for or holding required state licensure for laboratory practice
Education
- MLT or MT certification/credential (formal MLT program or equivalent)
Knowledge & Skills
- Deep familiarity with Vitros 56/7600 operation, maintenance, and analyzer history reporting
- Quality control and assurance principles for clinical laboratory testing
- Strong documentation practices and experience with laboratory information systems
- Troubleshooting instrumentation issues and coordinating repairs or vendor support
- Effective communication with clinicians and laboratory team members
