Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality cardiopulmonary and respiratory therapy care for a diverse patient population
• Perform outpatient testing including pulmonary function tests, stress testing, and EEG testing with precision
• Support neonatal and high-risk delivery cases when needed, applying neonatal resuscitation skills
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and use electronic health records (EPIC experience is a plus)
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care, therapies, and equipment to support better outcomes

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Respiratory Therapist (RT) license for Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start
• Basic Life Support (BLS); may be obtained upon hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider (NRP)
• At least 2 years of well-rounded RT experience with diverse patient populations
• Outpatient testing experience in stress tests, pulmonary function testing, and EEG testing
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
• EPIC experience preferred; bilingual Spanish skills a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical knowledge in respiratory therapy and cardiopulmonary care
• Proficiency in pulmonary function testing, stress testing, and outpatient testing workflows
• Experience with neonatal care and high-risk deliveries preferred
• Familiarity with EEG testing and related procedures
• Comfortable with electronic health records (EPIC) and accurate clinical documentation
• Effective communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced clinical setting
