Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating/variable shifts (days vary): 12-hour Day 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 12-hour Night 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; 8-hour Day/Evening/Night shifts as needed. Must be available for all shifts. Staffing follows an 80 hours per two-week schedule.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, timely emergency nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
- Assess, triage and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and float to ICU or Long Term Care units as required
- Document patient care accurately and communicate clear handoffs across shifts
- Participate in unit-based initiatives to improve patient experience and outcomes
- Maintain readiness for variable shifts and adapt to changing clinical needs
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential required
- Minimum two (2) years of Emergency Department nursing experience is mandatory
- Willingness and ability to work variable/rotating shifts and be available for all shifts
- Comfort and experience floating to Long Term Care and ICU settings as needed
- Available to meet the client target start date of 2026-03-16, starting Monday at 7:00 AM
Knowledge & Skills
- Emergency Department nursing fundamentals and rapid assessment skills
- Critical care exposure and ability to support ICU needs when floated
- Experience working in Long Term Care settings when required
- Ability to work effectively on variable shift schedules and support team continuity
- Strong clinical judgment, clear communication and effective documentation
