Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic exams with attention to patient comfort and safety
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure images meet diagnostic standards
• Provide on-call coverage as scheduled to support urgent imaging needs
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain accurate exposure records
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and clinical teams to deliver timely care
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and participate in quality assurance activities
• Document procedures, findings, and patient interactions clearly and professionally

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (as stated)
• Active Radiologic Technologist certification/licensure (ARRT or state equivalent) required
• Ability and willingness to take on-call shifts as needed (explicit requirement)
• Strong patient care skills and the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately
• Comfortable working with PACS and standard radiology imaging workflows

Education

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent (common standard for this role)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
• Understanding of radiation safety and infection control best practices
• Familiarity with PACS and electronic imaging systems
• Ability to handle urgent/rapid turnaround imaging in a clinical setting
• Good interpersonal skills for working with patients and multidisciplinary teams
