Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality radiographic exams with attention to patient comfort and safety
- Operate imaging equipment and ensure images meet diagnostic standards
- Provide on-call coverage as scheduled to support urgent imaging needs
- Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain accurate exposure records
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and clinical teams to deliver timely care
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and participate in quality assurance activities
- Document procedures, findings, and patient interactions clearly and professionally
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (as stated)
- Active Radiologic Technologist certification/licensure (ARRT or state equivalent) required
- Ability and willingness to take on-call shifts as needed (explicit requirement)
- Strong patient care skills and the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately
- Comfortable working with PACS and standard radiology imaging workflows
Education
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent (common standard for this role)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
- Understanding of radiation safety and infection control best practices
- Familiarity with PACS and electronic imaging systems
- Ability to handle urgent/rapid turnaround imaging in a clinical setting
- Good interpersonal skills for working with patients and multidisciplinary teams
