Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert, compassionate care to obstetrics and labor and delivery patients during the night shift
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with OB providers, midwives, and the care team to ensure safe deliveries
• Perform nursing interventions, documentation, and handoffs that promote continuity of care
• Support families with education, emotional support, and clear communication throughout labor and delivery
• Participate in emergency response and obstetric procedures as required to protect mom and baby

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with demonstrated Labor and Delivery or OB nursing experience
• Comfortable and experienced working 12-hour night shifts
• Ability to work independently during night hours and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of obstetrics and labor and delivery care
• Skilled in maternal and fetal assessment and monitoring
• Excellent clinical judgment, triage, and emergency response skills
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and team members
• Accurate clinical documentation and time management during busy shifts
