Virtual Monitor Tech
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Start Date: 06-23-2026
End Date: 09-22-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, no set schedules, weekends and holidays required
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac rhythms remotely for up to 60 patients using advanced IT technology
- Recognize and report dangerous rhythm changes and arrhythmias following established protocols
- Accurately interpret EKGs and take appropriate action to notify local RN staff of changes
- Follow proper communication channels during routine and emergency situations
- Strive to improve patient outcomes and department metrics through vigilant monitoring
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience demonstrating job knowledge and abilities
- Graduation from an accredited program including EKG Interpretation
- Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam prior to accepting (lethal rhythms are pass/fail with one chance only)
- Preferred 3 years of experience in cardiac rhythm monitoring
