Location: Scottsbluff, NE

Start Date: 06-17-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Varied shifts, 4x10-hour shifts per week. Schedule includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgical procedures
Anticipate the surgeon's needs and assist with efficiency
Maintain a sterile field and ensure patient safety
Prepare the operating room and surgical trays
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth procedures

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist Program
BLS certification (AHA) required
Less than 1 year of experience accepted; first-time travelers are not eligible
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education

Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist Program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile techniques
Ability to anticipate surgeons' needs and adapt quickly
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
