Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Varied 8-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays. Flexible schedule required.

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive assessments and develop care plans for long-term care residents
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Provide ADL assistance and ensure resident comfort and dignity
Monitor and manage complex care needs including wound vacs, tracheostomies, and CPAP
Collaborate with physicians and nurse practitioners to adjust care plans
Admit, transfer, and discharge residents with thorough documentation

Qualifications

Active Hawaii RN license or ability to obtain upon acceptance
At least 1 year of experience in long-term care or similar setting
BLS/BCLS certification required
Comfortable with point-and-click EMR systems
Flexible and adaptable to varying shift schedules and patient needs

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
Proficiency in medication administration and treatment procedures
Experience with gastrostomy tubes, urinary catheters, and wound care
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
