Shift Type: Per diem, flexible shifts; example shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (night shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate patient care in accordance with facility policies and procedures
Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for assigned patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal outcomes
Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
Supervise and delegate tasks to LPN/LVNs and nursing assistants as appropriate

Qualifications

Valid RN license in the state of Maine
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
At least one year of recent acute care experience preferred
Ability to adapt quickly to different units and patient populations
Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
Proficient in medication administration and IV therapy
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Excellent assessment and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
