Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 3x12-hour shifts weekly, evening/nights

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform assigned laboratory analysis and report results accurately according to procedures and regulations
Maintain quality control and troubleshoot as needed to ensure reliable outcomes
Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment per manufacturer instructions and schedule
Correlate laboratory results with clinical findings through chart review and collaboration with nursing and medical staff
Perform receptionist and phlebotomist tasks to support patient care flow

Qualifications

State licensure as a Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist (or eligibility upon acceptance)
ASCP or equivalent certification preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols
Excellent communication skills for consulting with healthcare team

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in clinical laboratory testing and instrumentation
Knowledge of quality control and safety standards
Ability to correlate lab results with clinical conditions
Competency in phlebotomy and patient interaction
