Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry monitoring and nursing care to a diverse adult-geriatric patient population
• Float across multiple units within Zone 3, including cardiac, neuro, oncology, rehab, renal, bariatrics, ortho, trauma, and ED observation
• Titrate heparin drips as needed and manage common titratable drips
• Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient care
• Adapt quickly to different facility environments and acuity levels, including MS/Tele, PCU/Stepdown, and low-acuity ICU holds
• Maintain flexible availability to fill scheduling gaps and meet weekend and holiday requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience required
• Prior neuro experience preferred
• Must hold active, unrestricted RN license in Colorado or compact state
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius from Denver City Center (or meet radius rule)
• Willingness to float within Zone 3 facilities as assigned

Education

• Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, floating environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with heparin titration and common drip management
