Location: Phoenix, Arizona

End Date: 08-31-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, includes every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to critically ill neonates in a Level 4 NICU
Manage complex patients including premature infants, cardiac defects, and surgical cases
Perform advanced skills like Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of neonatologists, midlevels, and RTs
Support stepdown patients and assist in mother-baby and labor care as needed
Maintain sterile field during procedures and participate in SIMs Lab competencies

Qualifications

2+ years of Level 4 NICU experience required
Previous travel experience preferred
Must be comfortable with sterile technique and high-acuity patients
Willingness to float to mother-baby and labor care (babies only)

Education

Associate's degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's preferred

Knowledge & Skills

BLS and NRP certifications required
Cardiac STABLE certification strongly preferred
Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team
