Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring patients and postpartum mother-baby couplets
Titrate critical drips like Magnesium and Oxytocin to ensure safe outcomes
Monitor fetal heart tracings using OB Trace Vue system
Collaborate with surgery team during C-sections, focusing on newborn care
Support neonates with CPAP, BiPap, and high-flow oxygen as needed
Float to MSP/ED for patient sitting and helping hands when required

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience
Ability to pass fit testing (no facial hair allowed that interferes with mask seal)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in labor and delivery nursing
Skilled in titrating IV drips and managing antepartum complications
Proficient in electronic fetal monitoring
Strong teamwork and communication abilities
Independent problem-solving in a rural hospital setting
