Respiratory Therapist
Location: Bismarck, North Dakota
Start Date: 06-15-2026
End Date: 09-14-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, every third weekend and holiday
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver expert respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric patients in a Level II trauma setting
- Manage ventilators and advanced respiratory equipment including Airvo, PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, MR1, and V-60 Respironics
- Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to make critical clinical decisions
- Provide specialized NICU respiratory support while maintaining independence and sound judgment
- Cover all areas of the facility including ICU, surgical, medical, and cardiac units
Qualifications
- Current RRT or CRT credential
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Active North Dakota state respiratory therapy license
- Proven NICU experience essential
- Ability to work independently and exercise strong clinical judgment
Knowledge & Skills
- Ventilator management across all age groups
- Airvo high-flow systems and multiple ventilator platforms
- Neonatal intensive care respiratory protocols
- Strong clinical decision-making and independent practice
- Collaborative communication with physicians and care teams
