Shift Type: Thursday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms closely to detect changes in patient status
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care for telemetry patients
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
  • Provide clear patient and family education about cardiac monitoring and care
  • Respond promptly to clinical changes and escalate concerns appropriately

Qualifications

  • Current RN license in California (required)
  • Telemetry experience or demonstrated competency in cardiac rhythm monitoring
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications (ACLS) preferred
  • Ability to work per diem shifts, including short-notice coverage
  • Current immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation of cardiac rhythms
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork in high-paced environments
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
  • Skilled in medication administration, IV therapy basics, and patient education
