Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to assigned patients
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families about care plans and follow-up needs
• Escalate clinical concerns promptly to ensure patient safety and outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in California or eligibility to obtain one
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred when required
• Comfortable working independently in per diem assignments
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and patient-focused mindset
• Previous acute care or related clinical experience preferred

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Medication administration and IV therapy basics
• Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Basic troubleshooting of patient care equipment
