Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility, ensuring dignity and comfort
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and communicate clearly with care teams
• Assist with feeding, hygiene, and toileting needs while promoting independence
• Help maintain a clean and safe patient environment and follow infection control protocols
• Collaborate with nurses and other staff to support smooth patient flow and positive outcomes

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification or Certified Nursing Assistant credentials
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Valid state-required licensure or certification for CNAs
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Previous experience in long-term care, acute care, or similar settings a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care and patient safety practices
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with infection control and standard precautions
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
• Basic charting and documentation skills; willingness to learn facility EHR
