Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret basic strips each shift
- Provide compassionate care for patients with CHF, respiratory issues, GI conditions, diabetes, and post-cath needs
- Support recovery for total joint replacement and stroke/TIA patients
- Collaborate with charge nurses and aides to maintain safe 1:5 ratios
- Float to East Campus or PCU when needed to support the broader team
- Document assessments and interventions accurately in Cerner
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with 80 percent or higher within two attempts
- Experience reading basic tele strips and interpreting dysrhythmias
- Preferred background in total joint replacement and CVA/TIA care
- Cerner experience strongly recommended due to limited orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
- Medical-surgical nursing fundamentals
- Patient assessment and care planning
- Comfort managing set-rate drips such as Diltiazem
- Familiarity with BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatments
- Strong communication and teamwork across shifts
