Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver resident-centered nursing care using the nursing process: assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate and document
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Perform patient assessments and interpret diagnostic tests to inform clinical decisions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in accordance with physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, effective resident care
- Document direct and indirect nursing care clearly and in compliance with facility standards
- Contribute to performance improvement efforts that enhance resident outcomes
- Provide education and support to residents and their families
Qualifications
- Current California RN license (required)
- Current certification in CPR (required)
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings or working with long-term care residents is a plus
Education
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Knowledge & Skills
- Nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation)
- Patient assessment and interpretation of diagnostic tests
- Medication administration and treatment implementation
- Care planning and individualized resident care
- Clinical documentation and accurate charting
- CPR certification and emergency response
- Cultural competency and resident education
- Performance improvement techniques to support quality outcomes
Benefits
- Sign-on bonus: $7,500.00
- Progressive pay scale with 30 pay increments to reward up to 30 years of relevant experience
