Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity critical care nursing for ICU patients, using advanced assessment and intervention skills
• Monitor patients continuously and interpret complex physiologic data to guide treatment
• Perform focused critical care assessments and implement evidence-based interventions
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust individualized care plans
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition, initiating emergency measures when needed
• Document patient status, treatments, and outcomes clearly and promptly to support continuity of care
• Support and educate patients and families during high-stress situations with compassion and clarity

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
• Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS required
• ACLS required
• NIHSS required
• PALS preferred
• TNCC preferred
• Previous ICU/Critical Care experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• ICU and critical care nursing principles and best practices
• Advanced patient monitoring and interpretation of hemodynamic data
• Critical care assessments and complex intervention skills
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients and prioritize under pressure
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork in an ICU setting
