Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities for medical supplies, ensuring departments have what they need when they need it
• Create and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to confirm deliveries and resolve issues
• Maintain organized records of purchases, receipts, and inventory transactions
• Collaborate with clinical and logistics teams to forecast supply needs and avoid shortages
• Support inventory audits and help implement process improvements to streamline purchasing

Qualifications

• Familiarity with medical supplies and hospital purchasing processes (required)
• Previous clerical or administrative experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple requests
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with procurement systems a plus
• Excellent communication and vendor-relations skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in business or healthcare administration preferred

Education

• Understanding of medical supply types and common clinical consumables
• Purchase order and invoice processing
