Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray imaging procedures accurately and compassionately
• Ensure patient safety and radiation protection during all imaging exams
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment according to protocol
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support timely diagnoses
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and PACS
• Inspect and maintain imaging equipment, reporting concerns promptly
• Provide patient education and reassurance before, during, and after procedures

Qualifications

• Valid state radiologic technologist license or eligible for licensure in Vermont
• Clinical experience performing CT and X-Ray imaging in a hospital or outpatient setting
• ARRT certification (or equivalent) preferred, with CT modality credentials a plus
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong patient-care skills, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously on a set schedule

Education

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or graduation from an accredited radiography program
• Additional CT-specific training or certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with CT protocols and diagnostic radiography techniques
• Familiarity with PACS, DICOM standards, and electronic medical records
• Working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and contrast administration basics
• Solid understanding of radiation safety principles and ALARA practices
• Good communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary teamwork
