Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, ensuring dignity and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the clinical team
• Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation of care and resident status
• Collaborate with nurses and care team to implement care plans
• Contribute to a calm, respectful environment for residents and families

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential required
• Must be authorized to work in the assignment state; LNA in NH or VT preferred
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and providing direct resident care
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved LNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care fundamentals and infection control best practices
• Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
• Safe resident handling and transfer techniques
• Good observational skills and timely reporting of changes
• Friendly bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
