Location: Lakewood, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Variable start times between 7:30 AM - 11:00 AM, primarily covering 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, with on-call requirements
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery care for diverse surgical patients
- Monitor and respond to cardiac rhythms while caring for ICU patients in the PACU setting
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient transitions from OR to recovery
- Manage complex cases including ortho, trauma, cardiac, urology, pulmonary, and GI procedures
- Support patients and families through the critical post-anesthesia period with compassion and expertise
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of PACU, ED, or ICU experience
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Knowledge & Skills
- PACU nursing expertise with Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery
- Cardiac monitoring and strip interpretation
- Ventilator and respiratory equipment management
- Epic electronic medical record system
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
