Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. Standard 30-min response time. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Circulate a wide variety of surgical cases across multiple specialties
- Support cardiovascular procedures including CABGs, TCARS, and carotids
- Assist with complex neurosurgical cases such as craniotomies and spinal procedures
- Handle orthopedic trauma and total joint replacements using advanced robotic systems
- Provide expert care during general, urology, and gynecology surgeries with the DaVinci robot
- Float between Bryan and College Station campuses to support team needs
- Precept new staff members and share your expertise with the unit
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact license
- Minimum 4-5 years of hospital operating room experience
- Proven ability to circulate in all surgical specialties
- Robotics experience with both Mako and DaVinci systems preferred
- Strong cardiovascular circulating experience required
- Excellent references and reliability are essential
Knowledge & Skills
- Expert circulating skills across CV, neuro, ortho, and general cases
- Comfort with DaVinci and Mako robotic platforms
- Ability to respond quickly during on-call situations
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to float between nearby campuses
