Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for MST patients during the assigned shift
• Perform thorough assessments and monitor patient status, escalating concerns promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately in the chart
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate timely, effective care
• Educate patients and families with clarity and empathy about care plans and follow-up
• Maintain a clean, safe clinical environment and adhere to facility policies and protocols

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse license in California (required)
• Clinical experience as a Registered Nurse; prior MST or related experience is a strong plus
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• Comfortable with bedside documentation and electronic health record systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and clinical observation
• Competent medication administration and IV care practices
• Clear, professional documentation and handoff communication
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
• A patient-first mindset with empathy for sensitive clinical situations
