Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during assigned per diem shifts
• Perform thorough assessments and develop timely nursing interventions
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in the medical record
• Monitor patients’ conditions and escalate concerns to providers as needed
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of assignment (California license required if working in-state)
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Comfortable working per diem shifts with flexibility and professionalism
• Experience caring for the patient population relevant to MST assignments (experience preferred)
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamwork mindset

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, medication administration, and clinical documentation
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs in a fast-paced setting
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and proper charting practices
• Strong interpersonal skills for working collaboratively with patients, families, and staff
• Knowledge of infection control, safety standards, and evidence-based nursing practices
