Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients during overnight shifts
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes
• Support crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed as part of the MST role
• Educate patients and families clearly and respectfully about care plans and resources
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and comply with facility policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in California
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Experience working as an RN in behavioral health, mobile support, or acute care settings preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and ability to work independently on night shifts
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment and clinical decision making
• Comfortable with medication administration and documentation best practices
• Knowledge of crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, and safety protocols
• Familiarity with MST program principles and community-based support is a plus
• Proficient with electronic health records and timely charting
• Collaborative team player with strong verbal and written communication
