Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
• Perform thorough assessments and develop nursing plans tailored to MST patients
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document care and patient status clearly in the chart and handoffs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Respond quickly to clinical changes and escalate concerns appropriately
• Deliver trauma-informed care with respect and empathy for all patients

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (required)
• Experience or training in MST-related care or trauma-informed nursing (preferred)
• Current BLS certification; ACLS/PALS as required by facility policies
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and handling acute patient needs
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse team
• Ability to pass required background checks and comply with facility onboarding

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Completion of accredited nursing program and active RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, clinical decision-making, and documentation
• Competent with medication administration and IV therapies
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and MST-specific considerations
• Proficient in clear, professional communication and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and shift handoff best practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced overnight environment
