Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, safe medical-surgical nursing care for adults, managing common MS diagnoses and oncology overflow
Document patient care accurately and efficiently in EPIC to ensure continuity and compliance
Assess patients, initiate appropriate interventions, and escalate concerns to the interdisciplinary team
Administer medications and therapies safely, following unit protocols and best practices
Support smooth patient transitions by communicating clearly with families and care teams
Maintain up-to-date licensure, certifications, and required profile demographics (including badge-appropriate photo)

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license (must be able to complete Nursys license verification)
Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical specialty (required)
EPIC experience is required — comfortable with documentation and workflows
Ability to provide a complete work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days
Provide Skills Checklist, References, and Certification Card as part of application

Knowledge & Skills

Strong Medical-Surgical clinical knowledge and assessment skills
Experience caring for oncology overflow patients is a plus
Proficient in EPIC for documentation and order workflows
Detail-oriented with strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Familiarity with licensure verification via Nursys and credential maintenance
