Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Start Date: 06-15-2026
End Date: 09-14-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, 10-hour shifts with occasional Saturday coverage
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert pre-op and PACU care for patients undergoing conscious sedation and general anesthesia
- Monitor and recover patients following interventional radiology procedures
- Collaborate with IR techs and physicians during body IR cases including chemoembolization, Y-90, and vascular access
- Support critical care and telemetry patients throughout their procedural journey
- Document care accurately using Cerner EMR and maintain excellent patient safety standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- PALS certification preferred
- Level I trauma experience required
- Pre-op, PACU, or ICU experience strongly preferred
- Interventional Radiology experience a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Comfort managing vents and telemetry patients
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR a bonus
