Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered ICU nursing care for critically ill patients
• Monitor and assess patients continuously, identifying and escalating changes in condition
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the multidisciplinary team to implement care plans
• Operate and troubleshoot ICU equipment, including ventilators and hemodynamic monitors
• Document patient care clearly and timely in the medical record
• Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families during critical moments

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in California
• Experience working in an ICU or other critical care setting
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfort with acute care interventions, ventilator care, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in high-acuity teams
• Ability to pass facility onboarding, background checks, and any required health screenings

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical knowledge of critical care assessment and intervention
• Skill in medication administration and IV therapy in the ICU
• Familiarity with ventilator basics and respiratory support principles
• Proficiency in accurate charting and clinical documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
• Teamwork and clear communication across disciplines
