Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult ICU patients with trauma, cardiac, stroke, and respiratory conditions
- Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation medications to maintain patient stability
- Monitor and interpret telemetry strips while documenting findings accurately
- Collaborate with nurse aides and healthcare support techs to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Float to PCU or MedSurg units as needed while maintaining safe nurse-to-patient ratios
- Respond promptly to on-call situations within 30 minutes when required
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum one year of recent ICU experience preferred
- Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
- Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
Knowledge & Skills
- ICU and telemetry monitoring expertise
- Cardiac drip titration and insulin management
- Stroke assessment and post-stent care
- Ventilator troubleshooting from nasal cannula to full support
- Strong critical thinking and rapid response skills
